Job summary

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, seeks a Manufacturing Technician for our Pittsburgh, PA location. You will assemble electronic components from drawings and schematics, winding wire and foil, soldering, braising copper foil, and testing components to ensure quality.

The role requires an associate's degree in related technology or equivalent experience, soldering and braising skills, and the ability to read drawings and manuals with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Automation Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Soldering and braising experience.
• IPC certification is desired. Reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and technical manuals with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Winding wire and foil, soldering, braising copper foil, repairing or replacing defective components.
• Applying insulation, connecting wiring, and testing electrical parts and components.
• Perform cycle counts of component and finished parts.
