Job summary

AMETEK in Warrendale, PA is seeking a Production Technician to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical systems for SEM and TEM product lines. You will work in a low-volume production environment, reading schematics, and collaborating with engineering to improve product quality.

The role requires 2–4 years of related technical experience, a high school diploma (associates preferred), and proficiency with precision test equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher in engineering strongly preferred.
• 2–4 years related technical/industry experience with mechanical aptitude.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• ISO 9001 and Lean manufacturing knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision mechanical assemblies in a low-volume production environment.
• Troubleshoot and test products for SEM/TEM lines.
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Solder and perform rework on assemblies.
• Provide training to others on test procedures.
• Communicate clearly with other departments regarding issues.
