Job summary

Scientific Drilling is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler for the Applied Technologies Center in Paso Robles, CA. You will assemble mechanical and electrical components, align to blueprints, and perform on-line tests to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience, with soldering skills and IPC familiarity. Safety and teamwork are essential, with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in field or related area preferred.
• IPC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools and calibrated equipment.
• Follow blueprints, work instructions and wiring diagrams to assemble devices.
• Perform on-line go/no-go testing and inspection to meet production standards.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards at the workstation.
• May work overtime as required.
