Job summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking an assembler to support production by assembling products, boards, and cables from various instructions and blueprints. You will align components, complete special orders, and test finished equipment for defects in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
• Basic electronics theory; ability to read prints; soldering experience required.
• Ability to read simple instructions, perform basic math, and follow written directions.

Responsibilities

• Performs assembly of products, circuit boards, cables, and/or starters from work orders, sample assemblies, verbal instruction or blueprints.
• Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Performs assembly for special customer orders.
• Assembles and attaches hardware to assemblies.
• Mounts assembled components.
• Tests assembled equipment to locate defects, using functional test instruments.
• Dismantles equipment and replaces worn or defective parts to repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Continually improves processes; monitors quality and follows safety procedures.
