Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a hands-on assembler to perform handassembly operations on CCAs, ensuring precise component placement and adherence to work instructions and drawings. The role involves using precision tools, executing in-process inspections, and maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Candidate should have a high school diploma and hands-on experience; an associate degree in electronics manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience assembling circuit board assemblies.
Proven inspection experience (visual, dimensional, AOI) with attention to detail.
Experience with highmix, low-volume environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform handassembly operations on CCAs: masking, component placement, lead forming, bonding, and staking per work instructions and engineering drawings.
Utilize precision tools to achieve tight tolerances and proper alignment.
Conduct inprocess inspections and document results using worksheets or electronic data capture systems.
Identify nonconforming parts or processes and log findings in the quality system.
Maintain clean workstations, follow ESD control procedures, and adhere to safety/environmental policies.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen) and suggest workflow enhancements.
