Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electronics Production Worker for a first-shift assignment in San Diego. You will perform repetitive assembly of electronic components and cable/wire harnesses, using blueprints and samples to guide your work. The role emphasizes accuracy, tool proficiency, and compliance with production standards.

The position is contract-to-hire, onsite, with a 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shift and pay at $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive assembly on electronic components and subassemblies.
• Strong hand-eye coordination for detailed work under magnification.
• Ability to distinguish colors for coding and identification purposes.
• Comfort reading diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Accurate measurement and calibration of parts and assemblies.
• Ability to work autonomously while following defined processes and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive electronic assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
• Assemble cable & wire harnesses from start to finish, including crimping and stripping.
• Complete box builds and kitting tasks per samples and diagrams.
• Conduct labeling, wire cutting, heat shrink, and other wiring tasks as required.
• Use rulers, measuring tools, and microscopes to meet production specs.
• Follow verbal and written instructions to ensure quality and coding compliance.
• Maintain focus and adhere to production floor rules (no phone use).
• Contribute to special projects as directed by supervision.
