Job summary

Electric Supply and Equipment Company is seeking an on‑site Assembly Technician to create structured electrical hardware configurations from detailed mechanical layouts. You will assemble components on mounting surfaces, read layout drawings, and use hand and power tools to ensure precise final assemblies for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be computer literate.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn.
• General electrical wiring knowledge.
• Extremely detail oriented and able to communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically assemble electrical components (relays, terminal blocks, enclosures) onto mounting surfaces per layout specifications.
• Interpret layout drawings and bills of materials to ensure accurate placement and alignment.
• Operate hand and power tools to drill, tap, and fasten components with precision.
• Perform visual inspections and dimensional checks to verify build quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure assemblies meet customer expectations and industry standards.
