Job summary

EnerSys is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in a plant/warehouse setting. You will assemble subassemblies and final products following drawings and schematics, inspect your work and others for quality, and perform crimping and wiring tasks with mechanical and electrical aptitude.

The role requires 1-2 years in a related role, the ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings, and the willingness to work varying schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
• Wiring and crimping experience.
• Ability to follow wiring schematics.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and interconnect final assemblies and subassemblies using work instructions, drawings and schematics.
• Inspect own work and inspect work of others to ensure reduced defects and quality.
• Identify differences in electronic or mechanical components.
• Work proficiently in multiple assembly areas.
• Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Demonstrate ability to do crimping.
• Cross-train processes as assigned.
• Read and interpret bills of materials.
• Read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings.
• Record production and traceability information accurately.
