Job summary

Technical Needs is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to assemble and inspect electromechanical components for semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a precision environment.

You will read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs, then use hand tools, torque drivers, and multimeters to build and test assemblies to spec. Strong soldering, crimping, and wire harness skills are required, with strict cleanroom/ESD adherence.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and engineering drawings, including wiring diagrams and BOMs.
• Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, and wire harness assembly.
• Experience using multimeters, torque drivers, and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical components such as cables, sensors, motors, and related assemblies.
• Interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs to complete builds accurately.
• Use hand tools, torque drivers, multimeters to assemble and inspect products.
• Perform soldering, crimping, and wire harness assembly to quality standards.
• Follow cleanroom and ESD procedures for semiconductor equipment builds.
• Complete required documentation and ERP data entry (Opcenter) for work performed.
• Identify defects or discrepancies and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and contribute to 5S/lean manufacturing initiatives.
