Job summary

ADB SAFEGATE is hiring an Electrical Wiring Specialist in Columbus, USA. You will perform intricate wiring of power control boards, assemble complex wiring builds, and participate in final assembly and test of airfield power controls and lighting units.

You will work with technical leads to solve problems and improve processes, reading schematics and blueprints, and ensuring quality craftsmanship in a hands-on environment. Shift options available.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven background in complex, intricate electrical wiring, panel building and harness assemblies.
• Blueprint Literacy: read, interpret, and critically evaluate electrical schematics and engineering blueprints.
• Pride in Craftsmanship: meticulous eye for detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• High School diploma or GED; or 1–2 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must be dependable and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Wiring & assembly of complex, high-precision wiring builds while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits and record results.
• Assemble electrical systems and install components using rivets or bolts.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical parts to meet specifications.
• Clean parts with solutions, air, and cloths.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders.
• Mark and tag components for stock tracking.
• Position and align work pieces to facilitate wiring or assembly.
• Pack finished assemblies for shipment and storage.
• Conferring with supervisors/engineers to plan or resolve production problems.
• Explain assembly procedures to other workers.
• Distribute materials to work areas.
