Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Columbus, MS is seeking an Aircraft Electrical Technician A to join our Back Shop team. You will perform manual and automatic operations during the process of manufacturing electronic boards and support the assembly of UH-72A Lakota and H-125 aircraft for the U.S.

market. The role emphasizes reading detailed wiring diagrams, following standards, and maintaining high safety and quality in aerospace production.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of aircraft electrical or related experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.

Responsibilities

• Apply the basic techniques and procedures of electrical installation.
• Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams and different standards in the fabrication of wire harnesses and electrical components.
• Lay-in route wires on form board, tying, lacing and apply appropriate anti-chaff protection.
• Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains and different electronic components such as resistors, capacitors and diodes etc...
• Soldering of connectors, contacts and components.
• Completing forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.
