Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Connecticut is seeking an Electrical Panel Assembly Technician for a full-time manufacturing role. You will build and wire electrical control panels from schematics and blueprints, then inspect your work for accuracy and quality.

The ideal candidate has hands-on assembly experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. You will read schematics, mount components, route wires, and verify panel integrity before testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training in electricity or electronics is a plus.
• 1–3 years of electrical panel building, electromechanical assembly, or related trade experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and bills of materials.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and mount switches, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, PLCs, and terminal blocks in panels and enclosures.
• Route, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires according to schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Measure, drill, tap, and cut enclosures and back panels for component installation.
• Inspect finished panels for wiring accuracy and component placement before testing.
• Apply wire markers, component tags, and terminal labels per engineering documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE requirements.
