Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking an Electrical Panel Assembly Technician for a full-time manufacturing role in Manchester, CT. You will build and wire electrical control panels from schematics and blueprints, then inspect for accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical panel building or related experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and BOMs.
• Experience with wire stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and mount switches, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, PLCs, and terminal blocks in panels and enclosures.
• Route, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires per electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Measure, drill, tap, and cut enclosures and back panels for component installation.
• Inspect finished panels for wiring accuracy, component placement, and structural integrity before testing.
• Apply wire markers, component tags, and terminal labels per engineering documentation.
• Keep the work area organized and follow site safety and PPE requirements.

What you will do

• Lay out and mount switches, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, PLCs, and terminal blocks in panels and enclosures.
• Route, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires according to electrical schematics and point-to-point wiring diagrams.
• Measure, drill, tap, and cut enclosures and back panels for component installation.
• Inspect finished panels for wiring accuracy, component placement, and structural integrity before testing.
• Apply wire markers, component tags, and terminal labels according to engineering documentation.
• Keep the work area organized and follow site safety and personal protective equipment requirements.

What we are looking for

• One to three years of electrical panel building, electromechanical assembly, or related electrical trade experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and bills of materials.
• Experience using wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, drills, taps, and similar tools.
• Attention to wire routing, color coding, and component placement.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, safely lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks requiring fine motor skills.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training in electricity or electronics is a plus.
