Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an Electrical Panel Assembly Technician for a full-time manufacturing role. You will assemble and wire electrical control panels from schematics and blueprints, then inspect your work for quality and compliance.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on assembly experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. You will lay out components, route wires, test assemblies, and maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with site procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical panel building or related electrical trade experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and BOMs.
• Experience with wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, drills, taps, and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and mount switches, relays, circuit breakers, transformers, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
• Route, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires per schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Measure, drill, tap, and cut enclosures and back panels for component installation.
• Inspect panels for wiring accuracy, component placement, and structural integrity before testing.
• Apply wire markers, component tags, and terminal labels per engineering docs.
• Keep work area organized and follow site safety and PPE requirements.
