Med Direct in Lake Geneva, WI is seeking an EDM Machinist- Tool Room to set up, program, and operate Wire EDM and Sinker EDM equipment to produce precision tooling and die components for Medicoil's manufacturing operations. You will read engineering drawings, select electrodes and tooling, perform inspections, document results, and assist with development of tooling and prototypes.

Qualifications

• EDM setup and operation experience.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Experience with EDM programming and tool selection.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM to support tool design.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM.
• Program EDM machines using controls and CAM software.
• Read and interpret drawings, GD&T, and specs.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Maintain toolroom tooling and documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and make corrections.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
