Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Germantown, WI is seeking an EDM Specialist to plan, lay out, and perform bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair tooling, dies, fixtures, gauges, machine attachments and mechanisms.

The role requires completion of a state-qualified apprenticeship or equivalent, the ability to read drawings and specifications, and strong precision skills. This is a full-time on-site position supporting a driveline and metal forming supplier to the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel and climb.
• Lift at least 50 lbs. frequently and 75–100 lbs. occasionally.
• Repetitive use of hands for fine manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, and perform bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair tooling, dies, fixtures, gauges, machine attachments and mechanisms.
• Train lower skilled tool makers on operations and procedures.
• Perform difficult machining operations requiring complex set ups and improvising tooling.
