Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Machine Operator for our dry mix plant in Oklahoma City. You will operate production machinery, adjust settings, and help ensure on-time production while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or at least one year of related experience
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
• Proficient in basic arithmetic for measurement units
• Maintain high accuracy in all tasks
• Experience operating a front-end loader
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs
• Able to work weekends as needed

Aufgaben

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Sets stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates
• Observe dryer operation and performs adjustments to maintain set parameters
• Assist other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirements
• Performs routine machine maintenance
• Startup machinery for daily production
• Reporting quality control for daily production
• Heavy computer usage, including Microsoft office apps
• Make sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned areas
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
