You will support attorneys and staff with calendaring, procedural changes, and fee updates, while coordinating daily dockets and assisting with docket-related projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years of litigation docketing experience is required.
• Knowledge of court rules and procedures and ability to apply the information to filings.
• Familiarity with litigation docketing software applications such as CompuLaw Vision / Milana, eDockets, ProLaw, CourtAlert.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the firm’s Litigation Docket to ensure deadlines are met using calendaring software.
• Coordinate and distribute daily and weekly dockets to attorneys and staff.
• Communicate with attorneys about judge changes and court closings.
• Track critical dates and relay information to legal teams.
• Provide guidance on internal docketing procedures and policies.
• Travel to court and related agencies to file documents as needed.
• Communicate changes in court procedures and fees to staff and coordinate disbursements.
• Search cases using software and internet resources.
• Undertake any other docket-related project.
