Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking an Assembly Technician - Dot Peen for its Engraving Solutions business in Pittsburgh (Cranberry Township). The role involves assembling, testing, and maintaining Dot Peen machines, and performing on-site service as needed.

You will interpret sales specs, assemble components, and ensure finished units are properly prepared for shipment, leveraging a range of hand and power tools in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with focus on precision, quality, safety and detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel up to 5%.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Process daily RMAs, unpack, sort, and record model, part and customer information.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Document parts, labor hours, and service details on RMA forms; perform on-site calls as needed.
• Fulfill new machine orders by assembling spare part kits per sales specs.
• Inspect, test, and securely package finished machines for shipping with proper documentation.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete precision mechanical assemblies; maintain spare machine inventory.
