Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Diesel POD 70 – Block Repair technician in Jasper, IN. This role focuses on inspecting blocks/heads, following a strict repair process, and performing precision machining with mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters.

Candidates should have strong math skills and attention to detail. Day shift, Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm, with overtime opportunities.

• Involves inspecting block/head for damage and following repairs with exacting tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect diesel blocks/heads for damage and perform repairs per established process.
• Operate mills, boring equipment, hones and valve seat cutters to final machining finish.
• Utilize basic hand tools including air impacts and measurement gauges to verify tolerances.
