Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Jasper, IN seeks a Diesel POD 70 – Block Repair technician. You will inspect the block/head for damage and follow an established process to perform repairs, using mills, hones and cutting tools to finalize machining finish.

This role requires attention to detail, basic math, and experience with air tools and gauges; schedule is Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm with overtime and growth opportunities through quarterly wage reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be highly detail-oriented and able to follow established processes.
• Proficient with basic math.
• Experience using air tools and measurement gauges is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect block/head for damage and assess required repairs.
• Follow established process to perform repairs and machining.
• Use mills, hones and related tools to finish machining to specification.
