Job summary

MiTek Industries in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Tool Room/Tool & Die Machinist to support stamping operations by manufacturing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting tooling and die components. This role focuses on production efficiency and equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of machining experience, a Journeyman Machinist certification or equivalent, and the ability to read blueprints and operate mills, lathes, grinders and drill presses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Machinist certification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years machining & tool room experience.
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints/technical drawings.
• Stamping die maintenance/repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture tooling, dies, and replacement parts from blueprints or samples.
• Repair and restore worn tooling to original specs.
• Operate lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses and other precision equipment.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments for dimensional accuracy.
• Assist with die teardown, troubleshooting, repair, assembly and maintenance.
