Responsibilities

• Set up presses based on precise work orders, adapting procedures for optimal outcomes.
• Analyze and apply production order components effectively.
• Manage machine setups, including auxiliary equipment, verifying metal type and thickness.
• Document and follow process parameters for consistent results; observe startup/shutdown protocols.
• Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of shafts, bearings, and related components.
• Develop repeatable processes through troubleshooting for smooth production.
• Assess tolerances and dimensions; adjust parts to correct deviations.
• Measure and inspect workpieces with micrometers and calipers for precision.
• Coordinate across departments to maintain smooth operations.
• Support continuous equipment operation and train operators in setup/repair when needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain an orderly workspace.
