Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Deburrer on 2nd shift at our North Charleston, SC facility. The role involves deburring complex parts, visually inspecting for defects, and maintaining productivity and safety standards. You may train junior staff and follow customer drawings and procedures to ensure quality compliance.

The position offers an hourly rate of $19.50 plus a $2.50 shift differential, with core hours 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Relocation is not offered; applicant must reside within 50 miles of N.

Qualifications

• Strong visual inspection skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Able to perform basic shop math.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn fabrication processes for aerospace parts.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, and routings.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive manual deburring and polishing operations per process steps.
• Rework parts damaged in manufacturing process.
• Set up and operate the coining press and drill press.
• Inspect parts for proper finish and flatness; ensure quality compliance with drawings and procedures.
• May train junior staff in deburrer procedures.
• Maintain productivity and safety standards.
