Job summary

Syndeo is seeking a skilled Deburr Operator for a local aircraft component manufacturing company. This direct-hire opportunity offers both 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM), with pay based on experience.

Essential duties include grinding, sanding, blending, buffing, and polishing parts, following detailed work instructions, and using air-powered hand tools and a burr machine. Candidates should lift to 25 lbs and read blueprints and specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous Deburr experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and maintain reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Grinds, sands, blends, buffs and at times polish parts that have been routed, milled, sawed, tabbed or blanked to ensure parts have an acceptable finish for the next process.
• Follow work instructions that describe any special tasks that may need completed such as removing tabs or special polish needs.
• Use air power hand tools such as 90 degree sanders, palm sanders, tabbers as well as manual burr knives and files.
• Run parts through the automated time save burring machine.
• Use calipers and scales to measure any critical dimension that must be maintained related to measuring thickness and finish.
