Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Compounder for our OTC manufacturing facility in Port Washington, WI. The role supports production through accurate weighing, blending, and documentation while ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.

The site operates multiple shifts to sustain continuous production and compliance. Responsibilities include weighing components, preparing pre-blends, calibrating scales, maintaining inventory, and using a sit-down forklift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in compounding, batching, blending, mixing, or chemical operations.
• Experience working within a regulated industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and unit conversions.
• At least 6 months of experience in blending, mixing, or compounding.
• Sit-down forklift experience of 6 months or more.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail for weighing, documentation, and batching activities.

Responsibilities

• Weigh components used in batches with high accuracy to meet product specifications.
• Document all pre-weigh activities accurately per procedures.
• Prepare pre-blends for larger batches to support efficient production.
• Monitor batching processes to ensure thorough blending of materials.
• Perform daily scale checks and calibrations to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify when re-orders are needed.
