Job summary

Monroechamber in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Compounder to join our manufacturing team. The role involves understanding chemical product manufacturing processes, sanitation, batch blending, and materials identification to ensure quality and safety.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent), basic math, and the ability to read and speak English. Training is provided; shifts cover 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with valid lifting capability up to 50 lbs and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and team lift to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Understand the operation, methods and techniques used in manufacturing chemical products.
• Sanitize and assist in preparations for product making.
• Blend batches with assistance as needed.
• Identify the correct raw materials for batches.
• Handle all chemicals per state and local regulations.
• Maintain surveillance of restricted area to ensure only authorized personnel enter.
• Read and understand SDS.
• Perform aseptic sampling of materials and bulks.
• Data entry for batch information, downtime, and tank status.
• Maintain accurate inventory using scanner for material usage.

Job description

Position Title: Compounder Wage: $24.00-$26.50/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm; 3:00pm - 11:00pm; 11:00pm-7:00am a company in Manitowoc WI.

Compounder Responsibilities

• Understand the operation, methods and all techniques used in the manufacture of chemical products
• Sanitize and assist in preparations for product making
• Blend batches with assistance as needed
• Identify the correct raw materials for batches
• Handle all chemicals in accordance with State and local regulations
• Maintain surveillance of your limited access area in the facility to be sure only authorized individuals enter the area
• Read and understand SDS
• Perform aseptic sampling of raw materials, intermediates, and bulks
• Utilize a computer for data entry including batch information, downtime tracking, and tank status
• Maintain accurate inventory by using scanner to document consumption of raw materials and components used during manufacturing

Requirements for Compounder

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic math skills
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Able to perform various physical demands such as stand, walk, kneel, crawl and crouch throughout shift
• Able to lift to 50lbs as needed and team lift to 100lbs as needed
• Able to use basic hand tools
• Able to pass forklift certification
