Job summary

You will weigh chemicals on digital scales, determine batch needs, select small adds, label containers, and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area. This position supports ISO9001 initiatives and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Use of hand truck to move skids of chemicals
• Capable of identifying different types of chemicals
• Is able to fill and operate the feeder system at the Henschel blender and small adds station
• Can operate the Henschel blender to mix chemical blends
• Understands how to use the digital scales for weighing chemicals
• Determines which Henschel blend is needed per work order and calculates how many batches are required
• Determines which small adds are needed per work order and calculates how many bags are needed
• Knows the proper use of all Personal Protective Equipment required for this position
• Properly labels all containers of chemicals
• Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards
• Commitment to ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement
• Identifies and/or records any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system
