Job summary

PL Developments is seeking a Senior Compounder in Lynwood, CA to prepare and compound OTC products per approved formulas, with a strong focus on accuracy, sanitation, and GMP compliance.

The role requires weighing ingredients, operating mixing equipment, maintaining batch records, and supporting product transfers. Independence, multitasking, and cross‑department collaboration are essential, along with willingness to work overtime on a 5:00am–1:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Excellent communication, mathematical and writing skills.
• Must be able to read and follow written directions in English.
• Forklift certification required.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends and be flexible with shifts 1/2/3.

Responsibilities

• Follow formula instructions to prepare OTC products.
• Log and complete batch records accurately.
• Navigate and transact in Oracle inventory system.
• Determine batch characteristics and ingredient weights per formula.
• Pre-weigh ingredients to specification and reconcile usage for each batch.
• Operate equipment to mix and compound according to the formula.
• Adjust temperature, time, and speed per CF compounding formula.
• Record quantities of materials used and facilitate product transfer to holding tanks.
• Wash and sanitize mixing tanks and equipment as required.
• Handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate interdepartmentally to complete daily duties.
