Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas is seeking a manufacturing associate to perform compounding, weighing, mixing, and processing of materials, ensuring safe operation of equipment and an efficient flow of the mixed compound through the production line.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to procedures, with opportunities to learn and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Ohio on-site location with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is desired.
• One year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math (add/sub/mul/div).
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check all raw materials using color perception for contamination, weigh and mix as instructed.
• Inspect scales for accuracy and operate equipment per procedures.
• Visually check mixing consistency; report issues to Production Supervisor.
• Load materials and oil into mixer; mix per schedule and work instructions.
• Monitor mixing conditions and adjust oil setup as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of mixer chamber and changeovers; prevent contamination.
• Keep mill and related areas clean; ensure efficient flow of machines.
• Report problems immediately and participate in solutions.
• Uphold safety; use PPE and follow lock-out/tag-out when needed.
• Assist in training new Associates; perform other tasks as assigned.
