Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas in Middlefield, Ohio is seeking a manufacturing associate to perform compounding, weighing, and mixing of materials while maintaining safe operation of equipment throughout the facility.

You will ensure the even flow of properly mixed compounds across the production line, inspect scales, and load materials into mixers following approved schedules and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent desired; competency assessment may substitute education.
• One (1) year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Able to read a tape measure. Basic computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds regularly.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Check all raw materials using color perception for contamination, weigh and mix as specified in formulations/instructions.
• Inspect scales for accuracy and operate equipment per standard procedures.
• Visually check mixing consistency; report inconsistencies or changes to Production Supervisor.
• Load raw materials and oil into mixer and mix per schedule and work instructions.
• Monitor mixing conditions and adjust bulk oil setup as needed.
• Ensure mixer is clean of material buildup between changes.
