Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas in Ohio is seeking a production associate to perform compounding, weighing, mixing, and safe operation of equipment throughout the facility. You will help ensure the even flow of properly mixed compound during manufacturing.

Responsibilities include checking raw materials, loading and weighing, inspecting scales, monitoring mixing conditions, keeping the mixer and surrounding areas clean, and following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Competency Assessment may substitute.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math including on-the-fly calculations.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Check raw materials for contamination and weigh/mix as specified.
• Inspect scales and operate equipment per procedures.
• Monitor mixing, report inconsistencies to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
• Follow PPE, safety rules, and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
