Job summary

Cirrus in Grand Forks, ND seeks an assembly/layup associate responsible for hand fabrication of composite parts. You will perform 70% in-cell layups with SR/SF knowledge, aiming for efficiency targets while maintaining quality. The role requires precise hand work, adherence to 6S, and the ability to follow CSO instructions and safety rules.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and some manufacturing experience or equivalent education. Basic computer skills are necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have dexterity and be quick with hands.
• HS diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Independent layup of 70% parts with knowledge in SR and SF within their cell.
• Achieve a minimum efficiency of 58%.
• Maintain high quality while balancing efficiency.
• Use WI, Solumina, and complete layup CSOs independently with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to 6S: Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety.
• Understand process specs and reference information.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards.
• May be assigned to different work areas as production needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead or Manager.
