Edgewood Vista is looking for a Manufacturing / Production Technician in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Job description

Manufacturing / Production Technician: $19.25 - $25.00 Per hour DOE

Job Summary: Assists other team members with lay‑up and fabrication of composite aircraft parts.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm. OT as required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in lay‑up and fabrication of composite aircraft parts, major components, and structures using prepreg composite fabrics and other materials.
  • Learn the Kanban system for SF and SR.
  • Observe and learn proper use of WI, Solumina, and completion of the lay‑up portion of CSOs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Complete Cirrus University training.
  • Apply the 6S principle (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety) to keep work areas clean, orderly, and presentable.
  • Comply with all paperwork such as work instructions that govern job duties.
  • Understand all process specifications and pertinent reference information.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, reporting hazards or incidents.
  • Wear proper protective equipment during appropriate job functions.
  • May be assigned to different work areas as production needs require.Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead, Department Supervisor, or Line Manager.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1–3 months related experience and/or training.

Competency / Position Requirements

A manufacturing technician must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in a fast‑paced team environment, be dependable, have a passion for learning, possess attention to detail, and have basic computer skills for accessing Cirrus Aircraft electronic data & software.

Manual Dexterity

Use hands with precision on small items and in small spaces; demonstrate speed and confidence.

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.
