Job summary

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC in Bensalem, PA is hiring a Saw Machine Operator in our Cut Extrusions department. You will cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys to meet customer specs.

Training provided; day shift with potential weekend work. Competitive pay plus a daily production bonus of $2-$6/hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical/dental/vision options, life and disability insurance, and 401k match after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Math and measuring skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Minimum 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual or CNC machines to accurately cut material for customer orders.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Use quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Operate and monitor machine operation for continued accuracy throughout cutting processes.
• Continually measure work piece dimensions to assure constant specification accuracy throughout machine operation.
• Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
• Work directly with the production supervisor to ensure accuracy of customer requirements.
• Prioritize workload to meet customer delivery requirements and company performance goals.
