Sun Recruiting, Inc. on behalf of a precision manufacturer seeks a CNC Programmer in Buffalo. You will develop and optimize CNC programs for precision parts, translating engineering requirements into safe, efficient machining processes that meet tight tolerances.

You will work with machinists, manufacturing engineering, and quality to ensure prints are met, prepare setup sheets and tooling lists, and continuously improve toolpaths, cycle times, and finishes.

Formación

• Practical CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T to machining processes.
• Working knowledge of G-code, M-code, machining principles, cutting tools, and workholding.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software, program verification, and shop-floor troubleshooting.
• Ability to use precision inspection tools and communicate effectively with machinists and engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs from drawings and requirements.
• Develop machining sequences, tool selection, and setup strategies.
• Use CAD/CAM tools and simulations to identify machining risks before release.
• Support first-piece prove-outs, machine setups, troubleshooting, and program adjustments.
• Optimize toolpaths, cycle times, tool life, surface finish, and dimensions.
• Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists, program docs, and operator instructions; manage revisions.
• Collaborate with quality to verify prints and maintain process compliance.
• Assist with fixture concepts and feedback for manufacturability.
