Job summary

Star Precision, LP is seeking a CNC Machinist in Houston, TX. You will read blueprints, program, and operate CNC machines to produce parts to exact specifications.

You will monitor real-time performance, adjust feeds and speeds, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Team collaboration and strict safety practices are expected to maintain quality and efficiency.

What You’ll Handle

• Configure and operate CNC equipment to produce components exactly to specification.

• Uphold safety standards and maintain an orderly, well-labeled work area.
• Document part counts, in-process checks, and any nonconformances for management review.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining coursework or certification preferred.
• Previous success as a CNC machinist or in a similar manufacturing position.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming and machine operations.
• Skilled with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical, problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Effective communication and a can-do attitude.
