Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems LLC. is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up and run Haas lathes (ST-30/ST-Series) and VF-4 mills. You will read drawings, adjust tooling and offsets, and ensure part quality in a safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has G-code proficiency, strong inspection skills, and the ability to work independently to meet production deadlines in Aurora, Ohio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating Haas CNC lathes/mills (ST series, VF series) preferred.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, GD&T, and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas lathes (ST-30/ST-Series) and VF-4 mills per production needs.
• Read engineering drawings to determine tooling, operations, and tolerances.
• Load materials, secure workpieces, check alignment and offsets.
• Edit simple toolpath and parameter changes for efficiency.
• Monitor processes and verify part finish and cycle times.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Record in-process quality data per procedures.
• Maintain 5S compliant, clean work area.
