LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up, program, and run Haas ST-30/ST-Series lathes and VF-4 milling centers in a strict, safety-focused environment. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and inspect finished parts using precision tools.

The ideal candidate will have G-code basics, strong machining knowledge, and the ability to work independently to meet production deadlines while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. On-site in Aurora, OH.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Haas ST-30/ST-series lathes and VF-4 milling centers.
• Strong knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, speeds/feeds.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Able to troubleshoot machine/tool issues.
• Capable of lifting/moving materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas ST-30/ST-Series CNC lathes and Haas VF-4 milling centers per production requirements.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to determine tooling and tolerances.
• Load materials, secure workpieces, verify alignment and offsets.
• Input tool wear, offsets, feeds, and speeds to maintain accuracy.
• Perform basic program edits at the control for efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
