Job summary

Stainless Process Systems is seeking a CNC Programmer, Machinist, and Set up Operator to program, set up, and operate Haas CNC lathe and VF6 vertical mill. The candidate will create part files, inspect first articles, and ensure quality through detailed blueprints and practice good safety standards.

Minimum 5–10 years CNC experience in a machining environment with proficiency in MasterCam, SolidWorks, and MS Office.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; vocational CNC machining training.
5–10 years documented CNC programming experience on lathes and mills.
Ability to read detailed mechanical blueprints and select appropriate machining methods.
Experience with Haas lathe (live tooling) and Haas VF6 vertical mill.

Responsibilities

Program machines by analyzing part drawings for best machining method and sequence.
Create part files and transfer programmed instructions to database using MasterCam.
Set up and operate Haas CNC lathe with live tooling and Haas VF6 mill.
Perform first article inspection of machined parts using calibrated tools.
Follow OSHA/Cal-OSHA safety regulations and shop manuals.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly equipment maintenance as prescribed.
Overtime may be required as needed by supervisor.
Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
