Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a CNC Mill Setup Machinist for a contract-to-hire role in Cleveland, OH. You will perform full CNC mill setups on Doosan and Mori Seiki with Fanuc controls, program at the control, and run 10–50 parts per order in a job shop environment to meet tight tolerances. The first shift runs 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m. You will inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, edit G and M codes, and contribute to continuous improvement in a clean, temperature-controlled facility that values

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full CNC mill setup experience.
• Experience with live edits and G/M code.
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls on milling machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform full CNC mill setups on Doosan and Mori Seiki with Fanuc controls.
• Program mills at the machine, including live tooling and offline programming at the control.
• Interpret prints to determine operations, tooling, and setup strategy.
• Edit G and M codes and verify code logic for accuracy.
• Set up and run job shop orders (10–50 parts per order).
• Measure parts with micrometers/calipers to verify tight tolerances (.002").
• Conduct in-process and final inspections and maintain calibration of tools.
