Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced CNC setup technician in Aloha, Oregon. The role focuses on setting up and running vertical mills, HAAS machines, and contributing to the programming of new parts.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years CNC setup experience in a metal shop, strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills, and a proven ability to maintain efficient, high-rate production while training junior operators.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years CNC set up experience in a metal shop.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Experience with HAAS/Mazak/Hurco CNCs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run vertical mills for low/mid-volume parts with varying complexity.
• Set up HAAS machines and assist in programming for new parts.
• Edit programs at the machine when needed.
• Maintain efficient, repeatable setups and high production rate.
• Suggest improvements to tool life and waste reduction.
• Perform first article inspection and fixture development.
• Deburr and finish parts; train less experienced operators.
