Job summary

Champion Personnel in Bedford Heights, OH is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Setup Machinist for a full-time, on-site role. This position offers a 4-day workweek with 10-hour daytime shifts (Tue-Fri or Mon-Thu).

You will set up and operate CNC milling equipment, perform tooling and fixture changes, read blueprints, verify offsets, inspect parts, and ensure quality and on-time production. A meticulous, reliable worker with Haas/Johnford/Fanuc control familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Familiar with micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
• Perform machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Make necessary machine and tooling adjustments and set offsets.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
