Job summary

Butler Technology Group in Fairfield, OH currently seeks a CNC Mill operator to run horizontal and vertical CNC machines and manual equipment, load parts, cycle machines, and monitor tool wear while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will read blueprints, use micrometers and calipers, follow quality procedures, and document results. ITAR compliance requires U.S. persons; training and steady teamwork are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience with CNC Mill/Lathe operations.
• Experience reading blueprints and using micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to read and interpret operation drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mill and manual machines to machine parts.
• Load parts, cycle machine, and monitor for tool wear.
• Report defective materials or conditions to supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform in-process inspections and document results.
• Use overhead crane for loading/unloading parts.
• Ensure gauges are calibrated and in good condition.
• Assist with general machine maintenance (coolant, oil).
