Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches and data to determine tooling and machining methods.
• Measures parts for conformance using precision instruments.
• Operates and monitors CNC machines, adjusts speeds/feeds and coolant flow.

Responsibilities

• Mounts and secures tooling and work pieces in the machine.
• Loads cutting tools and selects appropriate tools for each operation.
• Starts, watches, and adjusts machines to meet blueprint specifications.
• Changes tooling and setup per sequence and checks parts with precision instruments.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and reports malfunctions.
