Job summary

Allied Reliability is seeking several CNC Machinists responsible for the timely and accurate manufacture of parts per print specifications using a variety of machining centers. They will check, measure, and adjust tooling and processes to ensure quality while maintaining a safe workspace.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating grinders, lathes, saws, and milling machines, reviewing blueprints, and programming CNC sequences.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and routings.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work with standard and metric measurements.

Responsibilities

• Check for defective parts and perform machine maintenance.
• Identify materials to be used in the manufacturing process.
• Identify various types of tooling.
• Set up, operate, and maintain grinders, lathes, saws, and milling machines.
• Review blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Accurately take precise measurements.
• Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete a work order.
• Check output for quality assurance.
• Program and prove out CNC programs.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Operate forklift.
• Operate overhead crane.
• Assist in deburring or shop support.
