Job summary

AtWork Group in Walnut, CA is seeking an Operator I-CNC Operator to produce high-precision components using CNC milling machines, lathes and related equipment. You will read blueprints, program with G-code, and inspect parts to ensure they meet exacting specifications.

Joining our manufacturing team, you will perform precise measurements, support CAM programming tasks, and help maintain safe, efficient production with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing/factory experience required.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and interpreting drawings.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and PLCs is a plus.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and GD&T.
• Ability to read blueprints and production documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other related equipment to produce parts according to technical specifications and production schedules
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
• Program CNC machines using G-code, CAM programming software, and Fanuc controls to set up machining operations
• Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and GD&T standards to verify component dimensions
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial equipment including press brake machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses to minimize downtime
