Aerotek in Lakeland, FL is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist to set up and operate Okuma and Haas CNC mills, producing high‑precision aerospace components in a climate‑controlled shop. You will work from GD&T prints, load programs, select tooling, set offsets, and ensure tight tolerances as low as 0.0001" to 0.003".

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machinist experience with setup and operation of Okuma and Haas machines.
• Full setup and operation of CNC mills including tooling, workholding, offsets, and program loading.
• Experience reading GD&T blueprints and engineering drawings with tight tolerances (0.0001"–0.003").
• Proficiency in precision measurement using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
• Familiarity with Fanuc or similar CNC controls.
• Experience in aerospace or regulated industries is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate Okuma and Haas CNC mills to produce precision components from drawings.
• Perform full machine setup: tooling selection, workholding, offsets, and program loading.
• Operate multiple CNC machines including 5-axis centers as needed.
• Read GD&T blueprints, ensuring parts meet tolerances.
• Measure with calipers, micrometers, and CMMs and document results.
• Edit M and G code to refine programs and cycle times.
