Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have extensive industrial machine operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand part specifications and machining requirements.
• Start, monitor, and observe CNC machine operations to ensure proper performance and part quality.
• Calculate and set machine controls for speed, feed, and depth of cut.
• Perform process offset changes independently to maintain accuracy.
• Load parts using vise grips and other methods as a Level 1 CNC Operator.
• Inspect parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Verify conformance of completed work to specs and tolerances.
• Operate and oversee multiple vertical mills (Haas & Brother) simultaneously.
• Set up jobs, fixtures, tooling, and run the first part to validate setup.
• Adjust CNC programs as needed to achieve dimensions and finishes.
