Staffmark Group in Moraine, OH is seeking a CNC Machinist and Programmer to set up, operate, and program precision components using Haas/Mazak CNC machines. You will handle tooling, offsets, and touch-offs to meet tight micron-level tolerances.

You'll run G-code and CAM software Edgecam, inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, and troubleshoot processes to improve efficiency. The role rewards careful work, safety, and reliability with solid weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; machining coursework preferred.
• 2+ years of experience setting up and running CNC machinery; Haas or Mazak experience a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading and math skills for precision work.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC vertical, horizontal, and milling machines.
• Perform CNC programming using G-code and make program edits as needed.
• Utilize Mazak conversational programming (if applicable).
• Set up jobs including tooling, fixtures, and offsets (touch-offs).
• Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and specialty gauges.
• Program and setup jobs using CAM software (Edgecam specifically).
• Ensure parts meet specifications and maintain high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes as needed.
